Use of the UPC (Universal Product Code) in product labeling has almost become a necessity with the advent of optical scanning technology in the retail market industry. In order to help you meet this need, we offer a variet of ways to display your UPS symbol.
Because of the ever increating demand placed on manufacturers to provide UPS symbols that will scan accurately at the point-of-sale terminal, we conduct scanning tests after production to ensure that we meet strict specifications as set forth by the Universal Product Code Council. The image is produced in black.
Code 3 of 9, Logmars, Code 2 of 5 and Codabar (all of which can be consecutively numbered) can be printed in a variety of formats. Logmar (3 of 9) is used exclusively on all U.S. Goverment packaging. We can reproduce this code on any label to consistently scan per Mil. Std. 1189.
Your bar code can be printed in conjunction with other copy and design or run totally independent. Additionally, we can create the film master for you, eliminating the need of another supplier.
